Women deserve a shopping experience that caters to them. FGL Sports engaged Twilight to develop Sport Chek Women: a new female-focused concept store from Canada’s largest retailer of sporting goods and apparel.

With a vision for a sporting goods store designed specifically for the athletic woman, the FGL team wanted the powerful Sport Chek brand to come through in a unique experience. They came to us with a mandate for bold thinking and original ideas. But creatively, they were stuck.



We guided the FGL design team through Creative Magic—a collaborative journey where we clarified the vision and explored opportunities. One notable source of inspiration: the curvy, circular design of the store itself, which sparked a flurry of ideas for both form and function.



Our expertise in design, production and project management ensured a smooth transition from pixel to physical. The finished space presents a new take on a popular brand: a bright, open and inviting environment, instilling a sense of comfort and empowerment for women of diverse styles and athletic abilities.


Light box product displays and curved light boxes on the walls encourage exploration and engagement.


Wavy footwear wall design presents Sport Chek’s active persona with a uniquely feminine feel.


The circular space was laid out for easy navigation, maximum interaction and discreet access to changing areas.


The Community Centre offers a place to educate, inspire and excite the female consumer.
